PM extends condolences on death of journalist Bago

At the beginning of the government's meeting on Thursday morning, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković expressed sadness at the death of journalist and commentator Mislav Bago and extended condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

On Thursday morning, the commercial broadcaster Nova TV reported that its journalist, Mislav Bago, 50, had been found dead in his flat in the downtown Zagreb.

Plenković said the government was sorry to hear about the early death of this reporter who had covered the activities of the government and election processes for years.

 "He has left his stamp on political journalism in Croatia," said the premier adding that it had been pleasure to work with Bago.
