PM Milanovic says there is no lack of experts but lack of women in his cabinet

Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic has said that competence is not a problem in his cabinet and will not be a problem if he and his Social Democratic Party (SDP) win another term in office, but that there is an insufficient number of women in the government.

"We have competent people in the government. What I can detect as a problem is the under-representation of women," Milanovic said on Friday in Brussels.

PM said that the SDP would apply criteria for improvement of women's representation in party slates for parliament in order to rectify the current situation.
