PM Sanader meets Slovene President

ZAGREB, Nov 26 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Wednesday held talks with President Danilo Tuerk. Sanader and Tuerk said it was in the interest of Croatia and Slovenia to strengthen communication in order to resolve outstanding issues, especially in the context of the final stage of Croatia's EU negotiations.

They concluded that the friendly relations between the two peoples and citizens provided a firm foundation for cooperation between the two states in building a common European future. The two officials said both those in power and the opposition must participate in that, and stressed the need for intensifying communication at all levels, including between parliaments.
