PM wishes students inspiring atmosphere as school year starts

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković on Monday wished students, teachers and parents an inspiring atmosphere in the new school year, filled with mutual understanding and trust, and greeted first graders in particular.

In a tweet on the occasion of the start of the school year, the prime minister wished all students for their school days "to be filled with work, creativity, responsibility and friendship."

He also thanked teachers "who help you acquire knowledge and skills. Together with your parents, they will provide genuine support in your growing up."

Plenković said this was another challenging year and, greeting first graders, told them to "enjoy school, acquire knowledge and adopt work habits."
