Prime Minister Kosor opens Croatian Chamber of Commerce office in Moscow
ZAGREB, June 19 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor opened a Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) office in Moscow on Saturday, after which she met PM Vladimir Putin for talks on economic topics.
Speaking at the opening, Kosor said the HGK's Moscow office would further bring the two friendly countries together and thanked the Russian friends for opening the door for the realisation of such an important project.Kosor also thanked the HGK and its staff for their perseverance, and wished the entire Croatian business community in Moscow a lot of success in promoting and using the entire cooperation potential between Croatia and Russia.
Kosor said Croatian exports to Russia were growing and that trade had exceeded US$ 2 billion, of which $154 million referred to Croatian exports.
She said the opening of the HGK's Moscow office was linked to her third meeting with Putin in the past year.
The two premiers are expected to resume their talks from March on Croatia's inclusion in the Druzba Adria and South Stream pipeline projects and on the establishment of a joint company in which Russia's Gazprom and Croatia's Janaf would each have a 50 per cent stake.
