Prime Minister Oreskovic receives Bosnian Presidency members
Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic and the Bosnian Presidency said in Zagreb on Wednesday that they were willing to organise a joint session of the two governments.
Oreskovic and the Presidency's Chairman Dragan Covic and members Bakir Izetbegovic and Mladen Ivanic said the two countries had excellent bilateral relations, the government said in a press release.
They said cooperation was of strategic interest to the two countries and expressed political willingness to organise a joint government session. They also discussed concrete steps to solve outstanding issues and advance economic cooperation, notably in infrastructure and the energy sector.
Croatia once again confirmed its support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its road to European Union and NATO membership. The officials also discussed the migrant crisis, with an emphasis on cooperation in controlling and protecting the border.
The meeting was also attended by Croatia's First Deputy PM Tomislav Karamarko, Deputy PM Bozo Petrov, and Foreign Minister Miro Kovac.
The Bosnian Presidency members were on the second day of an official visit to Croatia. Yesterday, they held talks with President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
