We plan to increase the share of defense investment to 2.5 percent of GDP by 2027.
The ministers are discussing the possibilities of spending the 150 billion euros available to EU members, the minister said, adding that Croatia will find a way to best use the funds for the development of its defense industry.
Despite the investments, Croatia cannot produce all weapons and equipment itself, warns Anušić, so it still depends on cooperation for the purchase of certain equipment.
The minister also announced that Croatia plans to increase the share of defense investment to 2.5 percent of GDP by 2027.
